Pristine campground, clean facilities
Kangaroos everywhere
Breathtaking views, great hiking trails
Warm rock pools and nice beaches
-ves
Weak charging ports
Poor internet signal
Uneven grounds, easy to scratch 2wds and low rise cars, best suited for 4wds
Possums will snack on your unattended instant noodles in the middle of the night making it sound like you'll be the next meal
Always a pleasure to stay here! The new facilities are amazing! Showers always stop when you have tons of soap on you but that does take away anything from the spot’s charm!
Such a great place. One of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had. Spotless, big sites, hot showers, toilets are clean. Beach is nice and relaxing.
Lots of kangaroos, birds and ducks and opossums.
We really enjoyed it.
We will be back soon.
Great campsite located right next to the beach and good hiking trails to lookout points. The amenities on the campground are also very good. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic camping spot.
We're big on animal interaction so seeing and feeding (food prepared for wild life) kangaroos, wallabies, lace monitors, possums, and birds hit the spot.
We've listed 38 species of bird so far and it's still growing with the weekend still ahead of us.
The amenities are reasonable, cleaned every day, showers no longer cost but you get roughly 2 to 3 minutes to shower down.
Beaches are great as are the walks, check out the abandoned Gold mine on Spotted Gum Road, geocache there too.
Fishing ok, we liked nearby Durras Lake for this having caught whiting and Bream there.
I regularly went to bed early so I could catch the possum antics after dark, hilarious interaction with them and fed kangaroos from hand whilst feeding them, same with the King Parrots.
You're in for a very special treat here, just book in advance, We've seen campers come and go many times over in our week long stay.
The place is always popular.
During wet weather leaches come out so be warned!
Other than that it's all good!
See pickys as well.
Finally NSW NP have done something spot on!

Really nice campground and facilities just a couple minutes walk from a gorgeous beach well suited for swimming or fishing (maybe surfing on a NE swell). Gotta watch out for falling branches during wild weather. Not every campsite has a fireplace or is solar friendly.

Depot Beach Campground is a good place to camp. There are many facilities and the toilets are relatively clean. I highly recommend people to stay here if they want to go on camp.

It's a beautiful spot but we were very disappointed by the campground. Got a call at 4pm just outside Mollymook from the campground office telling us that we had our booking changed. Got there to find our pitch was moved and the one we …READ MORE

The road to this location, and the tracks to the beaches are pretty dodgy, but it was worth it for the lovely rainforest walk and views of the beach.
We stayed here from the 23rd of November to the 27th of November 2022.
Believe it or not, I'm not one to write bad reviews but this place deserves one.
We paid $400 anticipating good facilities. We are set up to free camp so we really don't need anything.
What can I say, the toilets both males and females were putrid the whole time. Not once did I enter and go hmmm clean, like wise with my partner.
Don't even start me on the showers. They are set up with a button on the wall. It's timed and no ability to adjust the temperature or pressure.
-You have about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Fine no problems, until you are trying to shower a screaming toddler as the water pressure is piercing there skin. Once the timer is out, it takes about 5 minutes before you can turn it back on.
-We asked for a key for the disabled toilets to enable us to shower our toddler as the allocated time, pressure and temperature was unsuitable for us. This was denied so we needed up shower hopping so we could get them showered.
-Next, you cannot adjust the Temperature, so I literally stood there shivering.
-The water pressure was so painful.
-We came back from the beach at 10:30am and attempted to shower only to find them not working. We were informed they take 3 hrs to reheat, yet hot water was available in the sink so we bucketed the kids clean.
The office was manned when they felt fit making it hard to purchase ice and firewood for the supplied wood fire pizza oven.
The need to purchase a national parks pass was unnecessary seeing how many were able to freely access the beach without one.
All in all, we won't be staying here again when we can have better facilities free camping.
Visited the surroundings and viewed some dolphins on a beautiful beach 🏝️
